Cheyenne Brammah, also known as Iron Dragon, is a Canadian science fiction and fantasy author who “torments her characters in ways reminiscent of George R R Martin”. She’s had a pen in hand for most of her life and loves character-driven stories that are epic in scope and complexity. The All Our Sins Saga features her debut novel, The First Sin, and will be the first stories told in the Akrodaxis universe.

When she’s not writing or reading, Cheyenne dyes yarn, crochets, knits, plays video games with her wonderful husband Mathew, and dabbles in nature photography. She lives in beautiful Cochrane, Alberta, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

They also act wildly inappropriately and unprofessionally with each other including in front of others while on duty as officers of the ship. The premise and circumstances these characters find themselves in didn’t feel well researched or thought out. I just couldn’t take the story seriously.

CLAIMING THEIR DOLLFACE. 3 stars. A much better read than Jana’s Journal, and edited reasonably well, but still could do with more work. The story runs at a breakneck speed and some crucial details, like how Rom actually succeeded at taking over the ship, are left out or glossed over. In some places the writing is handled crudely regarding intimate acts and could use more finesse.

OPERATION: PINPOINT. 4 stars. I really enjoyed this story! The dynamic between Ravenna and Dravos was really well done and the plot was compelling. A bit clumsily edited in places but the author wrote with a lot of heart and obviously cares a lot about this universe. I’d be interested in reading more in this series.

LIZ’S ALIEN ABDUCTION. 3 stars. The story has a lot of potential to be great, but the sample in this collection runs at breakneck speed and suffers from Liz repeating over and over and over how she doesn’t want to be part of a harem or share her alien. The story ends abruptly as well and I don’t feel like I actually had a satisfying conclusion. There must be more!

ENSLAVING EZMIRA. 3.5 stars. This was a strange story based on The Hunchback of Notre Dam with some scant sci-fi elements added. The first half of the story concentrated too much on how much pain Quasim faced every second. He was both an antagonist yet not. The ABO aspect of the story didn’t really add anything except the expectation of sex. Eh. It was okay but not really my cup of tea.

Despite its title, there is no actual “generator” in this book. Instead, it’s just a discussion of theory and best practices. Theory and best practices have their place, but the title of the book is grossly misleading.
