Kathleen Cochran I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier! So remember you and your husband! Quicker way to reach me mks518@comcast.net

How is your family?
Kathleen Cochran One was. "Unintended Consequences - Wallis & Edward" is loosely based on the life of my Great Aunt Elizabeth. She was a college professor who travelled the world between 1929 and 1978. My husband suggested writing a series imagining that she was actually a spy for the CIA. Good idea? I'm already writing a sequel!
Kathleen Cochran Life After Life. I would live through several lives until I found the perfect one. If you haven't read this book, it's unique. I've never read anything like it.
Kathleen Cochran What's that? The question asked for a two-sentence horror story and I started one with only two words.
Kathleen Cochran Jack Reacher series, Girl on the Train, March
Kathleen Cochran I clean my house and weed my garden. When I can't avoid writing any more, there is nothing left to do but attack that blinking curser on the page that taunts me: "So you think you can write, huh? Well, we'll just see about that." Writing shuts it up!
Kathleen Cochran I'm always surprised by where the story goes. I don't know the ending until I write it, just as much as the reader doesn't know the ending. I often write a passage, go back and read, then say, "Hey! That's pretty good!" It motivates me to keep on writing.
Kathleen Cochran Write. Write every day. You are a writer if you write. You don't become one by getting published. That's icing on the cake.
Kathleen Cochran I'm constantly participating in the HubPages writer's online community. My day job is working on a mystery called "Lord, Lord". It's about a woman who finds herself in Heaven. She learns she has been murdered and finds out who-dun-it by seeing who does and does not turn up in Heaven after her.
Kathleen Cochran I've learned just to sit down and fill up the blank page. The inspiration follows the act. If I wait for inspiration, I don't get much done.
Kathleen Cochran The idea for a book about our feable attempts to be "good enough" has been bouncing around my brain for years. Seems like those who are convinced they've "arrived" religiously do the most harm to those who are more humble. Still, I wanted to write something hopeful and humorous. This one is going to take a while to be ready for primetime!
