What happens if your spouse is and has been living a double life? What if he is not there most of the times? What if you forgive, but you also have all the indications that this person is comfortable with the situation? What am I going to tell my children when they grow up? I would appreciate my privacy being protected... And I also pray everyday that he may be Saved by our Lord, regardless of what he did to us.

I'm so sorry for your situation. I just want to let you know that there is nothing good/Jesus-like/Christian about staying in an abusive situation. A spouse continuing to carry on an affair without remorse or a willingness to stop and get help is an abusive situation. There are times that I think separation is necessary. Now, I am not recommending you take steps to divorce but it might be time to have a separation. I love that you are working at forgiveness and continuing to pray for him. The more you grow and are transformed into the image of Christ, the more your spouse will see that and be impacted by it. Please feel free to ask anything on your heart and I'll do my best to answer.
