Thank you! All my books are pretty close in terms of tone and content. Picture-Perfect Boyfriend and Love Unmasked have some of the rivalry feel, while PPB has the outdoor stuff and LU has more nerdy type references. Love & Other Great Expectations has the girl in an uncomfortable situation and some opposites attract.

Thanks, Lucy! My next YA romance will release in spring 2027! It's called The Candy Crush, and more details will be coming soon. :)

It might sound silly, but just start! Books are truly made good in the editing and the revising process, but you can't edit what you haven't written. You might write chapters that end up being practice, or just for you to learn about the world or characters. Just start writing where you think the story begins, or even start writing about your main character. You can always change the opening later, or add to it, or delete that and write something new. But get into the story however you can. You might also try picking a scene later in the book that you see clearly in your head or one that you're excited about and sounds fun, and write that to start. Or plop your main character into a situation and start there and see what happens. Don't worry if it's not good or you aren't sure you like it - just write and then worry about fixing it later!
