I've been so busy editing, I haven't thought about what I'll be reading. I do have a new Matthew Reilly book waiting though so hopefully I'll get to it.

Ha! Unfortunately I don't have any mysteries in my life to plot for a book. It would be a pretty tame book, that's for sure. I think that's why I write. I like creating scenarios that I wouldn't want to be involved in, yet enjoy plotting ways for my characters to get out of them.

I started writing in the early 80's (yes I'm showing my age). At the time, there were no real heroines around in either books or movies so I decided to create my own - Dt. Billie McCoy. I wanted someone who could look after herself and fight for justice. I wrote a series of books featuring Billie without any intention of publishing them . . . until now :)

I am working on the third book in my Billie McCoy series, in between editing the sequel to Slave Trader, Providence Road, with my publisher. It will be released in the near future with Wild Child Publishing.

I rarely have writer's block but if I do, I find the best thing to do is leave it and come back to it at a later time. It could be an hour, a day or longer. It seems to refresh my ideas and I'm ready to continue.
