I started writing in the early 80's (yes I'm showing my age). At the time, there were no real heroines around in either books or movies so I decided to create my own - Dt. Billie McCoy. I wanted someone who could look after herself and fight for justice. I wrote a series of books featuring Billie without any intention of publishing them . . . until now :)
