Our cat lives outside during the day, and then she comes inside at night. (She's an outside/inside cat that we rescued a few years ago from the ditch in our neighborhood.) After feeding her dinner, we close the door to her room. Somehow, at least once or twice a week, the door opens and she comes prancin' out into the house. Either our cat has grown opposable thumbs, or a ghost is opening the door, or who knows, your guess is as good as mine. LOL

Sometimes inspiration finds me, and other times, I simply sit down at my computer and make myself write, then I find inspiration.

The best thing is that I get to express myself through writing. I'm not the best speaker, and I can't draw or paint, but when it comes to writing, I can critique and critique until it's exactly how I want it to sound.

I read. The more I read, the more ideas that come to me. This can be magazines, newspapers, books, etc.

The most recent book that my agent is submitting to publishers is a YA alien romance. The idea came to me ... when I first read about "savior siblings." From there, the idea turned into something much more.

Push forward! Don't let your feelings drive you. Let your end goal be the thing that motivates you to write every day (or at least Monday-Friday LOL).

Right now, I'd love to visit CRAVE's fictional world. Of course, I couldn't go as a human, because then I'd be super vulnerable to dying. I'd like to be one of the dragons and roast marshmallows with my breath.

My current work-in-progress is a YA book (because I LOVE the YA category). The main character is a cheerleader who is being haunted by the ghost of her best friend. The best friend was murdered by the notorious Creekside Killer. The MC is desperate to find the killer in an effort to stop her friend from haunting her. But the killer is closer than he appears.
I'm also working on a short-story prequel to Scythe of Darkness. It's written from Thanatos's POV, and is a blast to work on!
