Eric Tripp Hello Connie. I always have several ideas in the works at any one time so that I can jump back and forth. Recently I have been focusing on two main projects. One is a sequel for "The Home" and the other is a prequel to my "Dominique Ick Lessont" series. I also have several stand alone projects that are always looming over me. "The Home" was actually a stand alone project that somehow jumped ahead of another book I had planned to finish this year. Whatever it might be, I do plan to have another book ready roughly six to eight months from now. I hope you enjoy "The Home."
Eric Tripp I'm working on a book called The Home. I'm only a few chapters into it so I'm not going to give out details yet. You can keep up to date on my works by visiting www.erictripp.com
Eric Tripp Write. Lots of people tell me "hey, I've got this book idea about..." Or "I'm going to write a story about..." but they don't actually do it. Having an idea doesn't make you a writer, writing it into a story or book does. Spending the tedious months writing, rewriting, editing, and editing some more makes you a writer. So write.
Eric Tripp The best thing about being a writer is hearing from people that have read and enjoyed my work. I put so much time and energy into my books and hearing that people like them makes it worth it.
Eric Tripp I go outside and relax. I love the outdoors and when I'm out there I tend to have new ideas or be able to work through my problem without trying to. Find your relaxing place. If that doesn't work, then skip ahead in your story to a part you can work on. Go bak later and fill in the missing space.
