You could try to break it down into 3 books if you want. There you a go... a series. I shoot for 50000 to 70000 words but it depends on the genre. I know that fantasy can be up to 100000 words but horror can range from 30000 to 80000. It's solely up to the writer and however many words you want to tell your story. But try to think about the reader and what it is that you're after with your tale.

Congratulations on your project. What's your genre? My projects are going OK. Working does seem to slow things down. Right now, my second novel is in the editing process. I also wrote a short horror story which should be out soon. I'm finishing up a short thriller and I just started working on a horror novella. Busy busy busy! Once the queue is cleared, I's going to start working on A Trinity of Wicked Tales Volume 2 and a horror/suspense novel, Up North.

It's fun to read and I grew up watching a ton of scary movies (my mom is a classic horror movie fanatic). Also, growing up, I saw a lot of horrific things that you wouldn't think a human being is capable of (the worst of the worst). So I decided to write about it (loosely) by adding sick twist and turns along with screwy characters. So when I write, the moral to everything is "It could always be worse. I mean, look at these people in this story." As far as horror, I try to stay closer to suspense than fantasy. Although I do like to have fun sometimes, the things that scare me the most are the things that could happen in real life.

It depends. If I wake up with an epiphany (say I came up with a twist in the coming chapter) I would hop on the computer or laptop and go at it for hours. If nothing comes to me or I'm stuck, I'll take a break and read a best seller or work on something else like an outline or do some research for another story I'm working on. So for me, there isn't X amount of words a day. I let it all flow as it comes. Once the flow comes, it's impossible to shut off. But when it's stalled, I move on to something else and then come back to it when I have an idea on where to go. If I need to read, research or just write for the hell of it, I will. But it always comes. Sometimes 10000 words at a time.

Is it a biography or memoir? If it's fiction, you can tweak the plot and the characters names, roles and personalities. Get creative and make it fun for the reader and make the actual events a secret that inspired the story.

I was a technical writer for seven years which was a sign that I should be writing because I really enjoyed it. I started writing fiction when things got a little dark in my personal life. It was an amazing outlet.
I also read some really cool books that got me so invested emotionally that I decided to share my imagination with others as well.

Writing flash fiction helps a lot to keep the creative juices flowing.
I read.
I have a pitching session with myself in the mirror.
I write. No matter how bad it sounds, I just write. I read it out loud, then fix it a million times.

I am preparing for the launch of my new book 'A Trinity of Wicked Tales' which is a collection of three short thrillers. I classify it as dark fiction because the characters react in unimaginable ways when they are placed in situations that makes them emotionally, physically, or mentally vulnerable.
I am also working on my first novel. 'When We Swing' is an erotic thriller about three couples who decide to swing in the effort to ad adventure and excitement to their crumbling marriages. I have to say, I'm having a lot of fun writing this one.
Both will be self- published.
I also post dark flash fiction biweekly on my websites blog page https://kyrobooks.com/category/flash-...
So yeah, pretty busy girl.
