Thanks Ilyse! I'm working on a third Dagny Gray book (backdrop is the heroin epidemic), but we'll have to wait and see what the appetite is for it. The Bubble Gum Thief sold well, but Borderline Insanity has not taken off yet. My appeal to everyone: if you read and liked Borderline Insanity, please tell your friends--by text, or phone, or in person, or on Facebook. Especially on Facebook!

Good question! When I was in second grade, my parents overheard another kid in my class swear. That night, they pulled me aside and talked to be about profanity. I decided right then that I would never use it, and have never uttered a swear word even through today, weird as that may be.
That said, most people in the world are not weird like me, and a book full of people like me would not be very much like the real world at all. Therefore, sometimes characters in my books do swear. It is not frequent. And whenever they swear, it is because I'm telling you something about their character. (There is one F-word in Borderline Insanity; eleven in The Bubble Gum Thief. None muttered by the protagonist, Dagny Gray).

Thanks Joni. My publisher ran the giveaway, so I don't have control over how it works. I think you can contact Goodreads here and ask them to give the copy to another entrant:

My agent has the book out to the publisher. Nervously awaiting word; no idea how long that will take. Fingers crossed. Visibly shaking at all times.
