I am very eclectic when it comes to music. When I am writing, I resort to soundtracks. I love Howard Shore, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer and Alexandre Desplat. I also listen to Dina Fanai, Amy Lee, Adrian von Ziegler and Dave Eggar. The music these artists make help me set the mood for a scene, enabling me to see the bigger picture during specific moments in the story.
When I am not writing, I listen to Linkin Park, Evanescence, Bruno Mars, Brooke Fraser, Avicii, and the list goes on!

The day I understood the power of the written word, I knew I wanted to write. Since I was a kid, I've enjoyed creating new worlds and characters. I love how people around the globe can be brought together by a particular story or character.

I have to say that out of all the things that inspire me when I am writing, music is the most powerful tool to trigger my creativity. I love listening to a good score while spending time with my characters. Music also helps me communicate the emotion of a certain scene. It is also my refuge whenever I am struck with writer's block!
