A Goodreads user asked J.D. Netto:

So I heard that you listen to a lot of music when you write and I was wondering what bands/artists you listen to. When I write I listen to Evanescence and Five Finger Death Punch, but what do you listen to when you write? Or what do you listen to in general?

J.D. Netto I am very eclectic when it comes to music. When I am writing, I resort to soundtracks. I love Howard Shore, James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer and Alexandre Desplat. I also listen to Dina Fanai, Amy Lee, Adrian von Ziegler and Dave Eggar. The music these artists make help me set the mood for a scene, enabling me to see the bigger picture during specific moments in the story.

When I am not writing, I listen to Linkin Park, Evanescence, Bruno Mars, Brooke Fraser, Avicii, and the list goes on!
