I missed your question, Shania. I'm not sure how. I apologize for not answering sooner. I'd certainly like for Oiorpata to be on tv or made into a movie. A number of people have said they'd like to see it on the screen. Of all the characters I've written, I like 57-J the best. I actually changed the ending of the story because I didn't want her to die. I've thought about turning it into a series with her hunting down other Oiorpata who stayed on the dark side. It would be nice to see her brought to life by an actress. The story I'm working on now is taking much longer than I intended because it has elements of my own life. I'll never say which things are exactly like they happened, which ones are exaggerated, and which ones are pure fiction.

I'm just finishing a novel titled "Blue's Point," a story about a small town that has been frozen in time and is fraught with racism.

Write. It helps to join a writing group too.

I actually have an answer for this. I just sit down and start writing. I know where I am in the story and I have a general idea where I want to go, so I don't worry about what I'm writing. I find that if I keep going I'll get on track. Then, I can go back and delete or edit anything that doesn't sound that good. It's much the same as starting a book. Many times, the beginning isn't really where the story ought to begin so you (or I) drop the dull beginning and start where the action begins. It's the same thing for me when I'm stuck. Just put words down and move the story forward without worrying how it sounds, then go back and edit it.

For me, it's finding out that people enjoy reading my books.

I don't know if inspired is exactly the right description. I write because I enjoy doing it. When I get into a novel, know the characters well, and am swept along in the story, you might be able to describe the semi-trance state I am in when writing as a form of inspiration.

I read an autobiography by the man who was the first designer of gadgets for the OSS and CIA. He made a comment that led to the idea for Oiorpata, the Thriller.
