Sometimes I try to push through it. Sometimes I succumb to and wait for inspiration. I journal every day so sometimes I will just reread things I've written and see what happens. Ultimately, I wait until it comes and keep something handy to write it down. iPad mini, bill envelope and whatever writing utensil is near, my iPhone/pages or notes... must have at all times.

Just write. it will all come together. Share with people who support, but there will be people who want to hinder you. Our own kind. Fuck 'em! there are so many people out there that read. Someone will read what you wrote and they will love it and pass it on and be a fan and you will have touched something in them and you will never know it. SO just keep on writing. some one needs your words.

A story I have been working on for about 3 years seriously. 10+ years in the making. Its a story of exploring the idea of redemption, love and mental illness. I am intent on starting a real conversation about mental illness in the african american community most specifically among women, but also people in general. I don't like the conversation surrounding it all.
