Carl Weaver Writing is not about inspiration as much as it is about working hard at something. You cannot depend on the muse alighting on the tip of your pen and your mind being moved by God's creation.

That said, you can set up all the right things to be productive, and by doing so, create a space and time in which you feel inspired. Sometimes physical exercise helps. Sometimes reading others' works. Sometimes rewriting or editing the last thing I wrote yesterday. Whatever it is for you, find it and tap into it. Try new things. Keep working hard at it.
Carl Weaver Write every day, whether you are motivated or not. Develop a discipline of writing. Set aside the time and space just for writing. Not for music, chatting, having coffee, or anything else - just for writing. You have to build this discipline, just like a runner has to build up to a marathon. Keep working at it. You will get there!
