(view spoiler)[I absolutely loved this book and when are there going to be more. I'm 72, so I can definitely relate to these people. Once I started, I could not stop. The action was fantastic; Lena is a she-bear when it comes to things that matter to her. It was different from anything I've ever read. Please continue with Tim and Lena's story. I give it 5 stars. When will there be another one? (hide spoiler)]

Thank you so much Cynthia. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. This book was supposed to be a standalone. I didn't have plans to write this as a series. However, it has had such great success and so many readers have asked for another that I may need to rethink that. That being said, I can't see it happening until next year. My writing schedule is booked until January. Keep checking in with me for updates and again, thank you.

Another good question. My ideas come from many different sources. Reality, dreams, news, observations. For example, one day driving home from a baseball game, we saw a car swerving all over the road. With care we pulled up next to the vehicle and noticed the driver was asleep. I leaned out the window and screamed, "Wake up," while the person driving our car honked. the other driver woke up, evidently thought we were messing with him, flared into road rage and chased us down wanting to fight. That encounter became the beginning of Teamwork.
The Warriors was developed after coaching a boy's basketball team and trying to figure out how to get them to play together as a team. That would take a miracle. Miracle became magic and the story went from there.

Good question. With me it's trying to make writing a routine. If I know that every day from x to x I am to be writing I get in a flow and lose myself in the process. If something interrupts that flow I sometimes have difficulty getting back on track. I have a goal that i intend to reach this year. Setting goals can be a good way to stay motivated.

I just finished edits on The Warriors, a young adult fantasy, due out soon. I am a third of the way through book 3 of Random Survival. But my main focus right now is cleaning up and submitting the six stories I've finished and have sitting around collecting dust. They need to be out there someplace.

Probably what every writer has been told and will tell you. Write. A lot of people tell me, i always wanted to write ... Well, there's only one way to make that happen. Write. But, write for yourself. have fun doing it. the most fun i ever had writing was when I wrote my first four Danny Roth stories. I never had any interest in seeing them published. i always wanted to write a story and finally made time to do it. I only wish i had started twenty years earlier. WRITE

At this point I have never had writer's block. The opposite is the problem. I have too many idea and never enough time to write them all. Sorry it doesn't answer your question but sometimes over coming the blank space in your head is as simple as doing a few writing prompts.
