Jane Blaufus My most recent book is the third Edition of my bestselling book. At the request of my readers and suggestions from others, I have included a new Afterword. Many people encouraged me to share where I am today as they feel it is an inspirational piece of my story and gives others hope that they too will be able to go through a dark time in their life and learn to live and love again as well.
In addition, there are a number of new testimonials, the book has been revised and updated and a number of additional questions have been added to the master checklist.
Thanks for asking. Cheers Jane
Jane Blaufus My inspiration to write is born out of my own personal experiences and my desire to help others to take control of their lives. My writing has always been outwardly focused as opposed to inwardly focused and it is a huge part of my mission to make a difference in this world.
Jane Blaufus Thanks for asking, I am working on an author-coaching program to coach first time writers who want to self publish. As a successful author in the self-publishing space, I will be sharing my expertise to help new authors to navigate some of the pitfalls and surprises working in this world and will be helping them to keep more of their money in their own pockets.
Jane Blaufus Great question, just start writing! When you first start out do not worry about grammar, spelling, etc. that is what an editor is for later on when you are ready to publish. At the beginning you just need to start getting words down on paper and out of your head. Do not worry about flow or sequence just concentrate on clearing the noise out of your head. After I wrote my book, I could not believe how quiet things were upstairs. For years, my book had been rattling around in my brain and all of my thoughts were taking up space and making things noisy. Getting it out and on paper made a world of difference.
Also, do not think about what others will think of your writing for in the beginning it is for your eyes only. Remember the Nike slogan, Just Do It! Good luck. Cheers Jane

Jane Blaufus Being a writer has opened so many doors for me and helped me to create a life I would have never dreamed possible. When I wrote the book, my intention was never to make money. My intention was to help one family never to have to experience what my family did after the loss of my 39 year-old husband. I wanted to use our real life experiences to help others.
Today that is still my intention but it has taken on a life of its own and turned into a movement. My writing has helped me to become a sought after international speaker, a guest expert on TV/Radio, and a contributing blogger for the Huffington Post along with a number of other wonderful things.
Thanks for asking. Cheers Jane
Jane Blaufus Great question and this is a big thing writers come up against. When I originally wrote my book, I did a lot of walking with my dog and thinking. In hindsight, I wish I had recorded what was going on in my head, as it would have helped.
Today when I have writers block I do the same thing. Park it, get up from my desk and I go for a walk. Does it work every time, unfortunately, it does not, but it does work a good part of the time. However, sometimes you just have to ride it out and let your subconscious do some thinking until there is a breakthrough. Every time I try to force my writing, I am not happy with the result.
Thanks for the question and I hope this has been of help. Cheers Jane
