Jean Oram Thank you in advance for leaving reviews. They're always appreciated! I've written over 20 books so there are plenty to read for sure! I hope you enjoyed The Promise. Thanks for reading.
Jean Oram Hi Ellen,

Is this for my newsletter? Please feel free to send me a private message here on Goodreads and let me know--we'll get you sorted out!

Thanks for letting me know you are having issues.

Jean Oram The indigo Bay books! I've read Sweet Matchmaker which is my book, of course, but not the other 5 books by my author friends. So I'm working my way through those and LOVING the returning characters such as Lucille Sanderson. She's awful. She's wonderful!
Jean Oram I'm actually working on four (4!!) books for my Veils and Vows series at the moment. They're all in different stages of development from proofreading to the first draft. Let's start with The Promise which is due out May 25th, 2017. This is a prequel novella about Devon Mattson and Olivia Carrington. You might recognize Devon's name from my Blueberry Springs series--he's the brother of Mandy Mattson who creates the award-winning, super-delicious whiskey and gumdrop brownies. Devon has been in a few books, the most recent being Tequila and Candy Drops. (He's Nicola Samuels's good friend.) Readers told me they wanted more Devon! So I decided, okay...let's give him a woman from his past. And what a past Devon and Olivia have! They were college lovers in The Promise (book 0), then meet up again in their novel, The Surprise Wedding (book 1). Both come out on May 25th and my editor and proofreader both agree that The Promise packs a powerful emotional punch.

I hope you enjoy it! (The Promise will be given to my newsletter subscribers starting this month--April, 2017. So go ahead and sign up at: www.jeanoram.com/freebook)
Jean Oram The series is complete with 5 books:
Love and Rumors
Love and Dreams
Love and Trust
Love and Danger
Love and Mistletoe

Happy reading!
Jean Oram Hi Ankit,

The books in my sweet Blueberry Springs series can all be read as standalones without feeling as though you're missing something--so go ahead and jump in anywhere!

Even the short stories in the Sweet Treats set can be read on their own. (They tie into other novels in the series but everything can be read as an independent, self-contained story.)

:)

Thanks for reading!

Jean Oram I find going for a walk, talking with author friends, or simply writing down what I have in the book I am working on helps me figure out why I am stuck. I don't consider it real writer's block, but more of 'where do I go next' kind of problem.
Jean Oram Working from home! Worst part of working from home--there's no magic fairy that cleans my desk every night.

Also, I LOVE chatting with other readers, dreaming up ways to make two characters fall madly in love, as well as being my own boss and staying home with my kiddos.
Jean Oram I am currently working on a Christmas novella that is part of the Blueberry Springs series. Readers had mentioned that they wanted to know what happened to Nash after Champagne and Lemon Drops and so this novella checks in with him while also giving Katie--Oz's kid sister--a shot at her own happily ever after. The novella is called Eggnog and Candy Canes and will be out in November 2014.
