Lisa Barry Being able to create worlds, characters, and adventures where I would like to hang out.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Lisa Barry Besides the worlds I create, I would love to live in Nocture Falls. The fictional (or is it?) city created by Kristen Painter. :)

How do you get inspired to write?
Lisa Barry Music is my main muse. Every story that I have written has had some piece of music encouraging it to untangle from my mind. If I am stuck on something, I will stop listening to audiobooks or podcasts and just let the music flow. Inevitably, something will emerge and need to be written as soon as possible.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Lisa Barry Keep writing! There will be many people that love your work and others that love to tear it down. Ignore the latter and keep writing! There will always be someone who likes your style just the way you are.

I know that the Guardians series was supposed to be a trilogy, but I haven't seen the second one. Will there be a second and third book? I really need to know how Liam went rogue!
Lisa Barry Yes! The second book is in it's second editing stage and will be released on August 10th, 2018. I believe it is available for pre-sale. The third book is in progress. Release date still to be determined. :)

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Lisa Barry This is such a hard question! There are quite a few fictional characters that I really love. One couple that stands out in my mind is Adam Hauptman and Mercedes Thompson from the series by Patricia Briggs. Another favorite is Hugh and Delaney in the Nocturne Falls series by Kristen Painter. These are series worth reading over and over again. I love these couples because they're not perfect. They make mistakes, they make up and they have BIG love that conquers all.
