(view spoiler)[It's not a couple per se, as much as it is the spiritual group who are bound together through various reincarnations as found in Kim Stanley Robinson's "The Years of Rice and Salt". We get to know these souls as they reincarnate time and again as an alternate history of Earth plays out. We discover who is who with each turn of the Wheel and so come to know them at a level deeper than might otherwise be possible within a single lifetime. (hide spoiler)]

The second volume of "In Heels", titled "You Got This" (as AK Moray), is made up of sequels to stories found in "In Heels" as well as new tales told in the same idiom; strong female protagonists being themselves and conquering whatever the world throws at them. Some of the stories in "You Got This" are shorts that were originally slated for "In Heels" but that were simply not ready to share a year ago when I released that first volume.
"Blue.," my new book of poems (as Robert C. Murray) is a collection of poems that I have written since I released "Stand Right, Walk Left," and asking where those ideas come from is like asking a dog where he pees -- everywhere!

Inspiration happens at random times, and is only good for story ideas. The writing itself is work. I work best on a deadline. If I have a deadline to meet, I will work to that deadline and have the finished product (such as it is) ready when expected.

I am currently working on the marketing for the simultaneous release of my latest book of poetry "Blue." and the second volume of my "In Heels" tales, called "You Got This" (as AK Moray). Beyond that, one of my editors/beta readers insisted that one of the shorts in "You Got This" would make a good novel, so I am working on the structure for that novel. I also have the next set of "Astounding Adventure Tales" in progress, and I have the first novel of a Sci Fi trilogy that I am in the process of revising. So not too much.

You're only aspiring until you start writing, so get to it already! Don't worry about your first draft being awful. Everyone's first draft is awful. Never show anyone your first draft. Always revise at least once before you show it to anyone, and you should show it to someone. Find that someone to be your editor, or your mentor, or just your sounding board. Writing in a vacuum is all very well and good, but even the greatest writers have editors to tell them when they have crawled too far up their own ego.

The best thing about being a writer is the opportunity to engage with people. Everyone has ideas, and sharing my stories and poems with people is a great way to break the ice and get people talking about what is going on in their mind, or what might be weighing on their hearts.

The best way that I have found to deal with the dreaded writer's block is to go for a drive. I have had so many good ideas while driving. The original inspiration for "In Heels" came while I was stuck in traffic, and a good number of poems in both "Stand Right, Walk Left" and "Blue" came to me while on the road.
Can't make headway in your writing? leave it behind and go for a drive. Listen to the radio and just be on the road. You might see something that inspires you, or hear something on the radio that inspires you, or your subconscious ticking along while you focus on operating your heavy machinery may be all that it takes to knock that block loose.
