Brett A. Brooks I write. I know that sounds kinda simple, but it's the best way for me to get through a block. I sit down and I write. It's not always good work, but it keeps the engine greased and soon enough I'm back to cranking things out at a fairly steady pace.
Brett A. Brooks The idea for Edible Complex came from a conversation I had with my good friend, Bobby Politte. We were out getting some exercise on a walk, when--and I wish I could remember why this came up--we started talking about zombies eating brains. That transformed into why zombies at brains. Which moved to the idea that zombies were hungry.

I couldn't get that out of my head, so it just rattled around until the plot for Edible Complex came out. Yes, that's pretty much just the framework for the story itself, but it is still the spark that created the story.
