Trust the process of writing. Good writing takes time. It takes the input of others willing to tell you the truth. It takes multiple revisions. If you want to produce something worthwhile for others to read, something you can be crazy proud of, let go of being the owner of the material and instead invite others into the process. And then get prepared to spend more time than you ever considered on writing, and for the project to take longer than you expect. I promise though it will be worthwhile in the end.

Cultivating Peace is the story of my rescue from a life of complete chaos into a life guided by peace. It details not only my personal struggle but also how I moved from a "crazy, stressed-out, wanna-be-perfect-in-everything superwoman" into a woman of peace one messy step of faith at a time. As I journeyed further into my own peace I noticed so many other women were struggling in the same way. That bothered me so much! I wanted to offer a way for every stressed-out woman to learn how to receive God's peace for herself. So, I wrote down what had happened to me and what I learned from trusting the leadership of Jesus Christ over my own flawed leadership, in the hope of giving other women the same opportunity to experience peace like they have never experienced it before.
