What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Stephanie Haynes Trust the process of writing. Good writing takes time. It takes the input of others willing to tell you the truth. It takes multiple revisions. If you…moreTrust the process of writing. Good writing takes time. It takes the input of others willing to tell you the truth. It takes multiple revisions. If you want to produce something worthwhile for others to read, something you can be crazy proud of, let go of being the owner of the material and instead invite others into the process. And then get prepared to spend more time than you ever considered on writing, and for the project to take longer than you expect. I promise though it will be worthwhile in the end. (less)
