Any number of things might inspire me. Sometimes it's just two ideas that combine in my head. Sometimes it's inspired by someone I met or something I read. The important thing is recognizing that when it happens, and then doing something with it.

I have just finished book three in THE NEWTONBERG STORIES, currently called BACK TO NEWTONBERG. It is due to be published later this year.

ALL THAT REMAINS, the last published book, was based on the very first Newtonberg story written back in 1992. It is very different from that story, with just a few characters and the basic storyline remaining.
The next book (the one I have just finished), came as a natural extension of ALL THAT REMAINS. There were unanswered questions that begged to be addressed. Those questions -- combined with a new character who showed up in my head one day who wouldn't go away -- came together to form the basis for the new story.
