David Emprimo has always been drawn to the stories hidden within everyday life — the neighbor who becomes like family, the town that feels like home, the small decisions that can change everything. That love of quiet, human moments inspired THE NEWTONBERG STORIES, his series of novels set in a fictional East Texas town filled with heart, humor, and redemption.

His creative world expanded when he and his wife, illustrator Jill Emprimo, began collaborating on the LITTLE LEO children’s books. Inspired by their own dog’s personality and the joy of sharing stories with young readers, the series has become a family favorite for its gentle lessons and playful spirit.
