I nearly always get the idea for a book from a combination of news stories and real life experiences of mine. In my newest thriller The Devil You Know, I wanted a 'shout out' for albinos because no-one else ever does. You don't get parades in support of 'albino lives matter' do you? And in the media they are usually portrayed as the villain. Oops... I might have fallen foul of that one. You'll have to read the book to find out! Another bug-bear of mine is governmental greed or hypocrisy so I'll never be short of a story will I? :)
