Abigail, I am SO sorry for not replying sooner! I just now saw your question!! You probably know by now, but there was not only a book 3, for which I created a fictional connection between the Lost Colony and Pocahontas, but book 4, coming out this September, which, YES! is Virginia Dare's story. I honestly wasn't expecting to do a story on her, because there's so much mythology surrounding her, but here we are! 😁 Thank you so much for asking!! ❤❤❤

Study the craft--Self Editing for Fiction Writers and then anything that talks about goals, motivation, and conflict ... don't be too hardheaded to accept correction, or the possibility that your work isn't "all that" yet ... but don't let others talk you out of your own writing voice, either.

And I'd just discovered the recent contemporary series Arrow, so it seemed a natural concept to meld with my passion for colonial/RevWar history.
