Hi Sandra,
Thank you so much for asking. Yes. The third book is finished and I am targeting a fall 2019 release. The title is “Shades of Regret” and is out with my beta readers. This one has been the hardest of the series to write, only because I hate saying goodbye to Cadrian and Sorin. My apologies I’ve taken so long!

Cadrian is 20, Sorin is 26 and Rob is in between, probably 23 or 24. Thanks for the question!

By letting it sit for a while and focusing on another story. I actually wrote "The Life Story Collector" and "Shades of Truth" at the same time. When one stopped flowing, I switched to the other.

Creating amazing characters and entire worlds for other to enjoy. I do get quite attached to my characters and am not looking forward to finishing "The Summerlynn Secrets" series. It'll be hard to say goodbye to my two favorite characters.

The third book in "The Summerlynn Secrets." It's way too early to even begin to summarize what it's about, but I'm hopeful it will answer most of the reader questions.

I start with characters. I've had Sorin and Cadrian in my head for at least a decade now. Thankfully, my earliest versions of their story haven't survived.
I also write in scenes. The final scene in "Shades of Truth" actually was the basis for the entire first book. I've also had the drawing room scene from "Shades of Trust" in my head for months, long before I realized where it would fit in.
I have great respect for those authors who write using outlines and know exactly what will happen when. For me, I write random scenes and connect everything later.

Hiding a key in a pendant was actually one of the best things I've ever thought of. It began as a "What if" scenario and snowballed from there. What if there's a key hiding in plain sight in a pendant? What if the key unlocks something the shouldn't be unlocked? Then, just for fun, what if there's a handsome prince involved?
