Clea Kinderton This is typical for my process: just released a 50k (short) novel to my editor; currently have 5 short novels, 1 long novel, and 6 stories finished in first draft waiting for edits; about half-way through the first draft of a second long novel and about half a dozen short stories. I also write story fragments for things which I plan on writing later, just to get the idea down before I forget. All of the above stories aside from some of the fragments are erotica of some flavor (sci fi, fantasy, horror, contemp, shifter, paranormal, etc.). I work in a state of more or less constant creative chaos which would probably drive a lot of authors crazy. If there's one thing I'm absolutely certain of, it's that I'm never going to run out of ideas.
Clea Kinderton Generally, writer's block isn't a problem for me.

I think writer's block is mostly performance anxiety; the fear that your writing won't live up to your own standards or the standards of other people.

I'm pretty shameless when it comes to my writing, so I don't worry that much about what people will think of the content. That removes a huge barrier to my creativity; if I had the time and energy, I could write non-stop for the rest of my life and never run out of ideas because my brain is constantly generating new material.

Writer's block isn't my problem; my problem is deciding which story to work on.
Clea Kinderton Coquette. I like it. It's a lot classier than the terms I usually hear. I like the picture, too. If my picture could wink, it'd be winking at you. Which is exactly the sort of thing that gets me in trouble.
