Can I tell you something? I don't get writer's block! I do, however, regularly suffer from motivation block. You know, the knowledge that there is a file waiting for you - it desperately needs attention and you just keep ignoring it. I wish there was a definitive way around it, however, I usually procrastinate or start something new!

Given this question is about someone who unexpectedly becomes a widow, it's a fairly morbid query (given that I've been happily married for 11+ years). I'm not entirely sure where my untitled Road Trip project came from. I think my protagonist's response to becoming a widow is just one reaction I might have and exploring that idea fully. As much of a tragedy as putting myself in her shoes has been, the story has been a rewarding one.

Great question! What am I not working on? I'm very close to finishing the first draft on a still very much 'in process' sequel to another book I've written. I need to move another project into Scrivener. And I need to start the first draft of a manuscript I finished in June. It's going to be a busy fall.
