Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ann Benjamin Given this question is about someone who unexpectedly becomes a widow, it's a fairly morbid query (given that I've been happily married for 11+ years). I'm not entirely sure where my untitled Road Trip project came from. I think my protagonist's response to becoming a widow is just one reaction I might have and exploring that idea fully. As much of a tragedy as putting myself in her shoes has been, the story has been a rewarding one.
