Victoria Aveyard So far, I think longer. Book 2 is definitely bigger than 1.

I absolutely loved Red Queen and cant wait for the next book in the trilogy. The twist crippled me physically and mentally in school. Thanks for that. Quick question: why is Mare named 'Mare'?

As for the name, Mare Barrow popped into my head fully formed. I also just love the name Mary and my grandmother (also named Mary) said her nickname was Mare as a little girl.
