Rob J. Hayes Sorry for the late answer. There are physical copies of all my books. Unfortunately I have no idea which sites they would be available from in Poland. They are usually available on Amazon. Alternatively I do sell print copies directly from my website (www.robjhayes.co.uk), but I'm not sure how expensive shipping to Poland is.
Rob J. Hayes Hi Grant!

Sorry for the late reply. The First Earth saga will continue. The six books already out form a bit of a natural stopping point for the saga, but there are six more to come. I've just been busy writing other things for a while. Eventually though, it will continue. :D
Rob J. Hayes The good news is Pawn's Gambit audio is coming very soon. It's complete and currently in review.

The bad news is there is no update on The Fifth Empire of Man yet. I am trying to get it made, but am having serious issues with the production team.
Rob J. Hayes Hi there, Benjamin. Sorry for the late reply, Goodreads didn't tell me I had a question pending.

The good news is I'm releasing a follow-up book to Never Die tomorrow (January 26th). It's a new standalone set in the same world.

Other than that, I will always recommend my latest books first so maybe give Along the Razor's Edge a go. It's the first book in The War Eternal trilogy.
Rob J. Hayes Hi Adam. At this point in time Amazon is the only place to get ebooks of all my books. You should be able to buy paperbacks on certain websites though such as bookdepository.

Rob J. Hayes I can neither confirm nor deny such a thing as it would be too big of a spoiler. But many characters of First Earth have stated that folk don't come back from the dead like that... unless you read City of Kings... :D

Rob J. Hayes That's the one. Only it's not the only time that fellow is in the story. He also features in the other First Earth books including the trilogy of The Ties that Bind and the stand alone City of Kings. A faded green suit is kinda his thing. :)

Rob J. Hayes Hi Abdul, sorry for the delay in answering this question. I can tell you this: whether or not the characters found any personal closure to their journeys, they certainly found a measure of redemption, and the tale of their deeds will be spoken about for generations to come. So I suppose Iron Gut definitely found some closure in that.
Rob J. Hayes Hi Abby. My books are definitely for adults. Most have some degree of sex, though rarely graphic.
Rob J. Hayes Sorry for the extremely late reply. Given that you asked this question a year ago... I've published City of Kings (book 6 in the First Earth Saga) and my asian-inspired standalone, Never Die, in that time.

But what's next? Well I'll be releasing the first book in a new trilogy (new world) later this year. That book is called Along the Razor's Edge and features a lot more magic than I usually write about.

And currently I'm writing a new epic fantasy (another new world), but all I'm willing to say about it so far is... Angels!
Rob J. Hayes Sorry for the extremely late answer. My sci-fi book was a one off. I had the idea for the concept of people able to buy and sell emotions like a drug, and just really wanted to write about it. Maybe if I think of another cool concept I'll dive into sci-fi again, but for now I'll be going back to my fantasy roots.
Rob J. Hayes Hi Kelvin, sorry for the late answer. I probably had the most fun writing my latest, Never Die. It really allowed me to play with tropes that I've always loved watching in anime and martial arts films, and the characters were a joy to write.

I think the most challenging one for me was probably Drones, my sci-fi thriller. I decided to write it in first person present tense, which was entirely new for me, and I found I really struggled to keep writing from that perspective. It took a lot of editing to get it right.

Rob J. Hayes Nope. There are plenty of strong female characters in the series. Though I'm not sure hero or heroine apply to any of my characters. :D
Rob J. Hayes Well The Bound Folio has just released. It's a collection of short stories set in First Earth. You'll recognise some of the characters from TTtB and there are others who will pop up in later series.

As for a new full novel.... Where Loyalties Lie (Book 1 of Best Laid Plans) is coming in December. There were some delays with the publisher, but it is on its way! I'll include a link below where you can find some more details. :D

Rob J. Hayes I currently don't have any plans to revisit Isabel and Jacques but I never say never.
Rob J. Hayes I have a little picture of a singe lion on my wall and underneath is the text:

"Writers block... when your imaginary friends stop talking to you."

Now I don't know where that little picture came from or why it's of a lion but it's true. Whenever I can't get the ball rolling I drift off and start dreaming a different world. Taking a quick break like that can jump start the ol' creativity.
Rob J. Hayes I'm not sure but nothing beats the satisfaction of receiving a message from someone saying how much they enjoyed one of my books.
Rob J. Hayes Don't stop. It's so easy to let the drive slip and before you know it you haven't written anything in a few days and then a few weeks. Keep writing and keep dreaming.
Rob J. Hayes I have just finished writing a follow up series to The Ties that Bind. It's a duology called Best Laid Plans. The first novel is Where Loyalties Lie and the second is The Fifth Empire of Man. Both have a planned 2016 release from Ragnarok Publications.

I'm now currently working on a high fantasy adventure romp with an Avengers feel to it. Expect heroes, dragons, dark lords, and my usual dark humour.
