Hey Colin. Glad you enjoyed part 1. Now is a great time to read parts 2&3 and leave some reviews here. Never been fly fishing. :) Life is pretty busy right now but I hope it slows down some.

Hey Colin. I was thinking about you the other day. Hope all is well.
As for being a "famous author", I like that many people have read my books or seen my plays and have been given a different look at the world. It is good to know my writing makes a difference.

Yeah, that is Jeff being Jeff. He didn't want the beggar or Stanley asking questions, so the light turns green before either could really grasp what was happening. Jesus had a problem with miracles because it became what people came to see. Jeff doesn't want to be about miracles. But yes, he healed the man.

The Infinite Jeff has an interesting origin. I had an hour and forty-five minute commute to work at one point in my career. I listened to a lot of audio books I downloaded from librivox.org (awesome site). While listening to "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions" I was struck with an idea for a story. I called my sister, who is a writer, and gave her the idea. She said If someone would have explained Christianity to her like that when she was younger she wouldn't have thrown it away. But there is no way she could write a story like I wanted with her current beliefs. She said that if I would give her an outline she would write it. So I, having never written before, sat in front of my computer and wiggled my fingers for three months. The story that transpired in front of me was not the story I had originally envisioned but much bigger and profound. I did not send her an outline, I sent her a 150,000 word rough draft. She and I have been hammering that rough draft into "The Infinite Jeff" ever since. Thanks for all your help, Jackie.

I don't write. If my mind is not in a place where writing flows then I need to back away from writing and deal with my mind. Some times I change what I am working on, also. For example, I have been having problems getting my mind right for The Infinite Jeff: Part 3 edits so I wrote a play instead. That is exciting and we are going to start getting actors to work through the play. That is changing my mind set and getting it back into the place where editing part 3 won't be forced.

For me, I write as much for myself as others. It is a time when I can organize, solidify and mature my thoughts and beliefs. Writing inspires me to read challenging books by others because I find inspiration in some of the great minds who were considerate enough to share their wisdom in their books.

Currently I am editing Part 3 of The Infinite Jeff. Editing is the slowest, most difficult part of writing. It is hard to get inspired and motivated to work on that. Feel free to send inspiration and motivation my way. To help get some creative flow going I have been also working on a new play.
