Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
John Taloni "I'm low on oxygen, let me in the airlock," radioed Dmitry from the outside of the spaceship. I looked to my side and saw Dmitry in the co-pilot's seat.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
John Taloni Write. And having written, write more. Keep writing. Spend time marketing, but most importantly, keep writing.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
John Taloni For Shadow on the Moon, I started with Larry Niven's macabre statement, "supernovas are industrial accidents." I first wondered, what kind of accident? And would it account for the high number of stellar explosions in the early universe and the lack of those explosions today? Who or what would be keeping those suns from exploding, and why?

And of course since it's a Cats of Space novel, there's lots of kitties! Telepathic, telekinetic, tele - well, that would be telling.

How do you get inspired to write?
John Taloni The question is more, how do I pick from among so many ideas? A book is a serious time commitment. Ideas abound. What if my cats were intelligent and lived on a space station? What if my daughter's schoolteachers were being infiltrated with trolls? Other ideas clamor for attention. Eventually I pick the story most wanting to be told, and tell it.

What are you currently working on?
John Taloni I'm having a blast with the Corporate Cthulhu anthology. My story Career Zombie is part of the anthology.

The kickstarter for Corporate Cthulhu is going on right now. After two days it's almost 20% funded. I'm offering Tuckerizations:

* Be the evil corporate executive! Gory, gruesome zombie death guaranteed.

* Be the protagonist! You are dead but still working for the Man.
