Tabitha Dye I tend to let writers block run it's course. Instead of worry and stressing that words are not jumping off my fingers and onto the empty page before me, I walk away. Let your mind settle, and the right and the better ideas will manifest when you're ready to receive them.
Tabitha Dye The creative freedom. There isn't a better feeling in the world to allow your thoughts and passions run wild with out any restrictions.
Tabitha Dye Still as an aspiring writer myself, the best thing I can tell anyone is the same stuff other professionals have told me. Not only keep writing, but read everything that you can. The more you read, the better writer you will be with practice.
Tabitha Dye At the moment, the second book of the trilogy is only ten pages away from the completion of the re-write. Once this is completed, there will be another run through and then onto the design phase to publish the final work on Amazon.
Tabitha Dye Inspiration to write comes and goes as it pleases. This is not something that can be forced, and if it is, in my case at least, I end up deleting the work. I have to be excited about what I'm writing! When I started writing Burden of Trust, I became so enthralled with my own characters that they began to take on a life force of their own. When this happens, I'm an excited observer, who can't wait to see what happens next.
Tabitha Dye The inspiration for this book, Burden of Trust ironically enough came to me in a dream. All my life I had wanted to write a book, but I didn't know what to write about. At first I thought I would write about my life and growing up with lesbian parents, but for some reason at the age of 18 I felt I didn't have enough world experience.

As a reader later in life, I became obsessed with the Twilight Series. One day while watching the extras and listening to Stephanie Meyers talk about her inspirations, I yelled out, "I wish that would happen to me." Two weeks later I had a dream that is now the opening chapter in Burden of Trust.

I can tell you that I hadn't planned on writing a book based off this dream, much less a trilogy. A good friend of mine encouraged me, and what started out as a short story quickly turned into a novel, which ended up turning into three.
