How do you get inspired to write?

Tabitha Dye Inspiration to write comes and goes as it pleases. This is not something that can be forced, and if it is, in my case at least, I end up deleting the work. I have to be excited about what I'm writing! When I started writing Burden of Trust, I became so enthralled with my own characters that they began to take on a life force of their own. When this happens, I'm an excited observer, who can't wait to see what happens next.
