Lucy McConnell Hi Kat,

Thanks for the question. :)

The "Marrying Miss Kringle" series order is:
Ginger
Lux
Frost
Robyn
Stella

Ginger happens to be on sale for 99¢ this week (special pricing expires on Saturday) so it's a great week to start the series!

Lucy McConnell Great question! :)

Well, if you want to start at the beginning, then read "The Academic Bride."

If you love sports romances, start with "Delay of Game."

If you're looking for Christmas, begin with "Marrying Miss Kringle: Ginger."

And, if it's a billionaire you're after, then "Her Beast of a Billionaire Boss" is the place to start.

Each book is the start of a series with characters that overlap and sometimes cause trouble for one another. ;)

Happy reading,
Lucy
Lucy McConnell Happy Friday!

My most recent book, as of this question, is "Robyn: Marrying Miss Kringle Book 4."

I've been writing this series for over 4 years and as I think back to the time when I wrote the first book, "Ginger," I was so thrilled with the idea of doing a Christmas family centered book.

But it couldn't be just any family.

I wanted to share the Santa story in a whole new way.

Part of "Robyn" came about as the other books were written. Each one of Santa's daughters inherited some of his magical abilities. One can deliver presents all day and all night. Another can speed read and organize letters. Robyn handles stocking stuffers, baking, and elf relations.

She's had a rough go as she's the oldest and 3 of her 4 sisters have already tied the knot. But she can't give up on love because to give up on love is to give up on Christmas--and Kringles don't do that!

So, long story short, the inspiration for "Robyn" came from spending time in the kitchen with my children baking sugar cookies, taking plates full of fudge and chocolate to the neighbors, and enjoying a cup of mint cocoa.

Happy reading!

Lucy McConnell Happy Friday!

The best thing about being a writer is that I can also be a mom. I have four amazing kids who are the light of my life. I'm grateful that I can change my writing schedule so that I can be at their programs and games.

It's not always easy to work from home. Everyone says you have to find a balance. I don't think there is such a thing. LOL There are days when I don't get to write at all and then there are days I don't see my family.

For me, it's a matter of putting first things first and then getting as many of my other to-do items done as I can.

But I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Lucy McConnell She went to the cupboard and the cupboard was bare.
She searched and searched but no chocolate was there.
Lucy McConnell 1 billionaire book.

1 YA book.

1 arranged marriage book.

1 non-fiction book.

And taxes...
Lucy McConnell Don't be afraid to make your characters suffer.
Lucy McConnell I treat my writing brain like a muscle.

Some days, it doesn't want to get out of bed and put on yoga pants. But, I sit down at the computer and type words anyway. They may not be my best, but I can't edit what's not on the page.

A bad day writing is better than a good day cleaning the garage or doing dishes.
