I think you may be confusing me with another author. I write the Frank Bennett Adirondack Mounters Tain Mystery series. Their will be a new release, JUMPING RISE, in 2021.

The next Frank Bennett book has a title, JUMPING RISE, and a loose plot idea--a murder takes place in a beautiful lake front home that can only be reached by boat. Great question that really made me think! As a mystery author who writes series fiction, I'm faced with the challenge of keeping up the tension between my couples without dragging out the "will they or won't they?' endlessly, which can become tiresome. One fictional couple that I admire is Dorothy L. Sayers's Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane because there is more than just sexual attraction between them--they genuinely like and respect each other, and they each bring strengths and weaknesses to their relationship. I hope I've managed to do the same with Audrey and Sean in my Palmyrton Estate Sale Mystery Series and with Frank and Penny in my Frank BennetT Adirondack Mystery Series.

The idea for ANOTHER MAN'S TREASURE, which features an estate sale agent whose life is turned upside down by a discovery she makes in a client's house, came to me when I hired an estate sale organizer to clean out my mom's house. I thought it was such a fascinating job--not only do you get to explore people's houses, but you also go through their closets and attics. Their entire life is laid bare.

Right now, I'm writing the sequel to ANOTHER MAN'S TREASURE, in which Audrey is cleaning out the house of a mentally ill hoarder to save him from eviction. But not everyone values her kind efforts.....

Join a critique group so you can get feedback on your work from someone other than your mom or spouse. Writers can't improve working in a vacuum.
