The book is memoir. The idea came from my dramatic career change from practicing physician to airline pilot. It is quite a story, and, from what I see from sales and reviews, it appears it is being enjoyed by all readers.

I have had an interesting life, especially considering my dramatic career change. Many friends and acquaintances familiar with my story suggested I write a book, and I did it. My story may even encourage individuals who are unhappy with some aspect of their lives to summon up the courage to take the risks necessary to find fulfillment.

In the case of a personal memoir, writing it is an opportunity to almost re-live portions of your life. I also love to hear positive comments about my books and read positive reviews that indicate readers are enjoying my stories. This brings me great satisfaction and makes all the effort worthwhile. The best experience of all, though, has been reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances who are in the book.
