David B. Crawley In the case of a personal memoir, writing it is an opportunity to almost re-live portions of your life. I also love to hear positive comments about my books and read positive reviews that indicate readers are enjoying my stories. This brings me great satisfaction and makes all the effort worthwhile. The best experience of all, though, has been reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances who are in the book.
