Charles Serio Generally, I aim to try to ground my writing in some sense of personal reality and so use personal experience or thought in the subject and structure of what I write. Currently, I am working on a new novel. The idea came as a result of a chance meeting with a mysterious someone on a transit bus.

It is a most dysfunctional and yet compelling deconstruction of a couple. It is also a beautiful expression of the bond connecting George and Martha and an equally distressing expression of that bond's breaking.
I don't really do 'favourites' though. Many literary couple could have made my list, I imagine.
