‘I read it while passing a kidney stone and it made me feel much better’

Sean Harby, Fictional Character

‘I first heard about it in yoga class. Later, I was having my raw veggie cocktail and someone at the table next to mine had a copy. I asked him if it was any good and he said it was.
Now he’s my new boyfriend.’

An A-list Celebrity (famous)

‘It bridges the gap between worlds and opens doors of perception effortlessly. I hated it.’

A really controversial mass media figure
who some people want banned

‘A real must-read! Not a tree-waster!
Lots of stars and more exclamation points!!’

The buzz among the cognoscenti

‘It reminded me of the past and what we’ve lost and what we’ve gained. I’m glad someone was keeping score.’

An old person who no one cares about
anymore and is treated like a non-entity

‘This is a semi-serious piece of work I’ve done here and I don’t appreciate people making light of my half-baked efforts.’

The author

‘A life enhancing journey through the looking glass. It even helped me lose weight and stop smoking. Wow!’

A very good, old, and dear acquaintance of the author (His mother)
