When I was in the fourth grade, my teacher had us write and illustrate stories that included our weekly vocabulary words. I hated the illustrating part... but the making up stories was definitely up my alley. Then, when I was in the 12th grade our English teacher had us write short stories. After reading mine, she wrote a note and said it was an excellent story and asked if I had ever thought of becoming a writer. It was very encouraging to say the least.

I'm currently working on the sequel to "Hidden in Harmony," which is titled "Fighting for Farmington." I'm about half way through with it and I believe readers are going to fall in love with it just as much as I have!
