I'd definitely want to go to Neverland where children never grow up. To me, that is Paso Robles in "If So Carried by the Wind," even though I was in my early twenties at the time, but if I were to capture a moment and put it in a jar that would be it.

This is impossible to answer and the first two couples that came into my mind were Holden Caulfied and his kid sister Phoebe from "Catcher in the Rye," and then Quention Compson and his sister Caddie from, "The Sound and the Fury." They are both deeply emotional brother/sister love affairs and maybe the love between children is the most intense. I realize these are also examples of incest, but it is literature we're talking about.

You better love writing or give it up, because you're going to take shit for it.

I'm currently working on a collaboration with an old friend about our childhood in L.A. The tagline is, "Growing up in Hollywood in the '70's: one story, two different perspectives." My portion of the novel is called "Toy Children" and was written mostly in 2008-2009, but needed a lot of refinement, arranging, and editing, which is its own kind of literary work. Also, it existed on its own, but now will breathe next to another, and be wed for a literary eternity.
