Creating the worlds and stories and live inside my head so that others can read and enjoy them, too. It's like a magical power. I love it.

I swear, my ideas come out of left field sometimes! I've been inspired by situations I've personally experienced, things I've observed, movies and TV, and often my own dreams. My dreams tend to give me the strangest yet greatest ideas. Often it's a little more farfetched or unbelievable in my dream, but main aspects of it will stand out to me and feel like a story. Then there's those moments where my mind is simply wandering and it leads me through to some pretty sweet ideas.
TL;DR: I get my ideas from EVERYWHERE. Lol.

I am currently working on the short story compilation, Irresistibly Yours. It will feature 5 stories total. The stories that will be included will be announced before the end of 2018 and I'm aiming to publish early 2019.

Aw, thank you! I'm hoping to get to work on it by the end of the year. I tried to get started on it last year right after I wrote it, but I wasn't feeling it at the time and decided to set it aside. I have in mind how I would like the story to go... but when I told my best friend the details, she asked some questions about the plot and characters and I couldn't answer them. So, I think I need a little bit more time to work out these "plot holes" before I can start writing the sequel. I'm hoping *fingers crossed* to be able to get to it by the end of 2015 and have a 2016 release. I hate to put it off that long, but I want to give Adrian and Hazel the story they deserve. :)
ETA: I probably won't be writing an official sequel, but I'm considering writing a short story of the morning after instead, since I've already dabbled in it. :)

Write! By that I mean write whatever comes into that pretty little noggin of yours. Don't censor yourself. Let yourself go into whichever path your creative mind chooses to take you. You can edit later. Trust me, the first draft of every single story you put together will be a horrible draft. It will be riddled with mistakes--from spelling and grammar to complete plot holes. You're not perfect and you shouldn't expect perfection right away.
The most important one: Don't give up. It's easy to give up. For some writers, they can write out whole drafts in a month. For others, it may take a whole year for one draft. Work at whatever pace works for you and don't let the small snags and speed bumps along the way derail your dream. Don't let one negative comment throw you. Haters are gonna hate, don't allow them to be the reason why you're not writing. I've had good AND bad reviews. Not everyone is going to like your style of writing. Let it go like water on a duck's back and keep pressing forward. You will not regret it.

Sometimes I can push through it by working on a different story. Other times I just give myself a break and watch a movie or take a walk. Maybe even take a few days or a week off. Come back from any of those things and I can usually pick right back up again.
