Seeing my book come to life. I love writing, but I LOVE book covers. It's my favorite time when working with my cover designer. I give her my ideas and she runs with it. She's amazing and has a great eye for color. To see the finished product of my book, which started as an idea is truly amazing.

Too many things to count LOL. I recently finished a manuscript that I queried so I'll probably here back in May. I'm outlining a new story and I've recently partnered with a subscription-based digital publishing platform website called Channillo. I'll be uploading a series for readers to subscribe to and read online on their site. My book cover for Match-Made Christmas is coming and my podcast has twenty-eight episodes already! There's a lot going on so I'm trying to keep everything straight in my head. :)

Writer's block? I hate it with a passion, but the best remedy I've found is to step away from my manuscript. It grates on me since I want to finish my story, but the last thing I want to do is force it. Sometimes I'll read, watch a movie, or listen to music. Taking a breather allows me to relax and then I can come back and finish. How long does writer's block last? For me, it can range from a few days to years. I've only faced the latter once and I don't plan on repeating that.

It started when I was a kid. I didn't like reading then, believe it or not, but once I wrote my first short story, I was hooked. Growing up though, I kept it private. I was meant to be my safe haven, an escape. It wasn't until college that I decided to self-publish. Based on the response I got, I saw that people actually liked my work. However, I didn't consider taking writing seriously until last year. I love it! It's hard work, it's time-consuming and exhausting. Still, I love it! Who knew this was a dream that I always wanted to pursue. Why don't we dream anymore? Do we stop as kids? Please don't stop dreaming and have the courage to go for it.
