How do you get inspired to write?

Daria White It started when I was a kid. I didn't like reading then, believe it or not, but once I wrote my first short story, I was hooked. Growing up though, I kept it private. I was meant to be my safe haven, an escape. It wasn't until college that I decided to self-publish. Based on the response I got, I saw that people actually liked my work. However, I didn't consider taking writing seriously until last year. I love it! It's hard work, it's time-consuming and exhausting. Still, I love it! Who knew this was a dream that I always wanted to pursue. Why don't we dream anymore? Do we stop as kids? Please don't stop dreaming and have the courage to go for it.
