(view spoiler)[Hi Cintia!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the trilogy! Right now my primary focus is on new novels, BUT I do occasionally toy with an Aleta short. No immediate plans for publishing it, but maybe someday...
Aleta definitely wonders where she came from, but without any real clues to her past, she mostly forces herself to look to the future. :) (hide spoiler)]

I somehow missed this question when you originally asked! Sorry for such a late reply! But you'll definitely learn a bit more about King Langdon's motivations in FALL OF THRONES AND THORNS. ^_^

It's going very well, thank you for asking! (And you made my heart swell by telling me that you're re-reading!) I'm working on finishing revisions, as the book goes to my editor next month; we're revealing the cover later this month and it will be out in September!

First of all, you've completely made my day. Kristin Cashore is one of my FAVORITE authors. I went to a signing of hers once and babbled semi-incoherently about how inspiring she was to me while she signed my copy of Bitterblue.
I'm still working on Fall of Thrones and Thorns, but it will be out later this year! When it comes out, it will be available in all markets. :)

Hi Cintia! Writer's block can be super frustrating, so I'm sorry you're experiencing this. I've dealt with my own in a variety of ways depending on the situation. Here are a few suggestions for you.
1) Freewrite. Maybe put on some music on and write whatever comes into your mind
2) Try some writing prompts. Maybe it'll spark some inspiration for a wholly original work or maybe you'll like the prompt so much that it takes on a life of its own for you. Either way, you can stretch your writing muscles.
3) Bounce a story back and forth between a friend or two-- continuing a story between you may turn out to be fun and it's a little less pressure to get from Point A to Point B.
4) Consider turning off that internal editor and diving into NaNoWriMo next month. I've done it a couple of times myself and it can really help you push past a block.
5) Read a book that's totally different from what you're writing. OR read something in your genre. I find that sometimes reading a good book inspires me to want to write the best thing that *I* can.
Above all, find what works for you. For some people, that's writing every day. For others, they need a break inbetween or a week on and a week off. Whatever it is, don't beat yourself up for not doing what works for others. You can do it!
Good luck.

There's nothing wrong with you at all! I think most writers and authors have what are called "trunked" works. In other words, work we've put away. The first novel I wrote wasn't the first novel I published. Keep trying. You'll get there.

I WISH that I wrote full-time! I'm grateful to have a day job until the writing can pay my bills, don't get me wrong, but it sure gets in the way of getting words down.
