the inspiration for my latest novel, 'THE HISTORY OF ME' was my family. the book was inspired by the kindling relationship of my grandparents; a coal-man and a seamstress. i was also inspired to write it, because i wanted to write about my experiences of having a loved one with a brain tumour. i wanted to write about what i have witnessed. writing the book was partially my way of dealing with the fact that my uncle has an incurable illness, that me and my family are continually witnessing him battle with.

people always offer advice, but the journey of a writer, is exclusive to that person. it differs depending on who you are and how passionate you are. if you want to write, then write... and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

the freedom to create worlds and lose yourself outside of reality. i also love hearing feedback from readers. knowing that someone has enjoyed what i created, puts a smile on my face that is hard to get rid of.

i have just finished my latest adult colouring book 'Spring in Bloom' and i have plans for another, but i'm not yet willing to say what that will be. ;)

The season of spring inspired my most recent adult colouring book, Spring in Bloom. It is filled with monochrome illustrations of the spring season, with birds, butterflies, flowers and other scenes.
